Author Guidelines

How to Write the Title, the Name, and the Author's Address

The title of the manuscript should be written at the top of the first page with the centre text alignment. Meanwhile, the author's name (without an academic degree) and the author's affiliation address should also be written with the centre text alignment under the article's title. The author should give two line spaces between the title and the author's name. Then, the space between the author's affiliation address and the abstract title is one space. The keywords must be written below the overall abstract for all words, with a maximum of three to five words.

The responsible author, the correspondence author, or the corresponding author must be written first and then followed by the second, the third, etc. The article revision and final statement communication will be communicated via email to the corresponding author only if there is more than one author. The author's name should be separated by a comma (,). If the author's name consists of at least two words, the first name should not be abbreviated. If the author's name is only one word, it should be written as it is.

The Guidelines for the Manuscript Body Text

The title of the manuscript is: The title should be informative and be written both briefly and clearly. It cannot have diverse multi-interpretation. It has to be pinpointed with the issues that they will discuss. The beginning word is written in capital letters and symmetrically. The article title does not contain any uncommon abbreviations. The main ideas should be written first and followed by their explanations. The article title should be reported within twelve words, in 16pt-sized font, with bold selection and the centre text format. Moreover, the title of the article written in Bahasa Indonesia should also be stated in English.

Abstract: The abstract has to be written with a maximum of 250 words and a minimum of 200 words in English and Indonesian, followed by three to five keywords and arranged alphabetically. The abstract must contain the following: research objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and limitations (optional)—abstract written in 1 spaced line and 12 font size Times, New Roman.

Introduction: The introduction must contain (shortly and consecutively) a general background and a literature review (state of the art) as the basis of the brand new research question, statements from the most recent scientific article, main research problems, and the hypothesis in the final part of the introduction, which should state the purpose of the article's writing. They should be represented in the literature review to show the brand new scientific article.

Literature review: The literature review constitutes the theoretical core of an article. This section will examine the function of a literature review. In addition, we will discuss how to locate relevant literature for a literature review and how to manage this information.

The purpose of a literature review is to "review" (re + view) the work of previous researchers on a particular topic (Leedy & Ormrod 2005:70). A literature review is a way to determine the objectives and hypotheses of your research (Perry et al. 2003:660). It provides context and explains why your objectives and hypotheses are significant.

A substantial literature review goes beyond merely summarizing pertinent prior research. The researcher evaluates, reorganizes, and synthesizes the work of others in the literature review (Leedy & Ormrod, 2005:84). For a literature review to be effective, you must be able to "digest" information from various sources, evaluate it critically, and present your conclusions in a clear, logical, and understandable manner.

Methods: The method explains how the research is conducted, including design, data collection, research instruments, and analytic methods. This part should be narrated.

Result and Discussion: This part consists of the research results and how they are discussed. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data. The research results and the discovery must be the answers or the research hypothesis, or research question stated previously in the introduction.

Table and Figure: Authors must provide high-quality artwork for all illustrations. Poor resolution or definition is not acceptable. All tables and figures (graphs) should be included directly in the appropriate part of the article (not separated). Each table or figure should be numerically numbered separately (Table 1, Table 2, Figure 1, Figure 2) and fully titled, which refers to the contents of the table or figure. Underneath each table and figure, state the reliable source. Use only horizontal lines, 1.5 spacing.

Equation: Equations should be numerically numbered consecutively in parentheses with aligning right margin, and it can use either the same font (Times New Roman) or the formula font.

Conclusion and Suggestion: The final part contains findings, limitations, and recommendations. The results will be the answers to the hypothesis or research questions, the purpose of the research, and the research discoveries. The conclusions should not contain only the repetition of the results and discussions. It should summarize the research results as the author expects in the research purpose or hypothesis. Research limitations and recommendations contain a deficiency in the research and suggestions associated with further ideas from the study.

Acknowledgement (if any): Acknowledge those who support the research (sponsors and respondents). Families and supervisors are not allowed in this section.

References: All the references used in the article must be listed in this part. In this part, you must take all the references from primary sources (scientific journals and the least number is 80% of all the concerns) published in the last ten years.

The Guidelines for Citations and References

All the data or quotes in the article taken from the other author's reports should be attached to the reference sources. The references should use a reference application management system such as Mendeley The writing format used in The Jurnal Prajaiswara follows the format applied by APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association).
